DIY St. Patrick's Day Camper Banner

St. Patrick's Day is almost here! I love holidays, they give me an excuse to do some crafts and decorate my front porch. We have a new tradition in our house for St. Patrick's Day. We take one of our campers and go camping! This is especially exciting for me, it gives me a reason to decorate the camper in green St. Patty's Day decorations!

For this upcoming St. Patrick's Day, I decided to make a camper & shamrock banner out of felt to put in the camper. It's very lightweight, so I can hang it anywhere.

Here are some instructions on how to make this no-sew felt banner yourself. Pick out any pattern of material that you want. I used 5 different patterns, but its up to you! The banner will be about 6 ft long, with 12" extra rope on each side to hang it.

Print out the St. Patty's Day Camper Template. This is found to the right, under PDF files.

Using the template here, cut out 6 shamrocks with the thick green felt.

Then cut out the material for the campers. Use the thick felt for the base of the camper. Use the patterned material for the top half of the camper. Cut out the door, window, and tire. Also, cut a thin strip for the hitch.

Assembled it all together using fabric glue. Repeat to make 5 campers. Let dry overnight.

After everything is dry. Attach the campers and shamrocks to a jute rope using the glue gun.

And you're done! Happy St. Patrick's Day!
